Security incidents

Terrorism is now a credible threat in Australia. In this heightened threat environment, local governments may need to review their security risk profiles as part of all-hazard risk assessments, and ensure they have current, effective business continuity and emergency management plans addressing the possible consequences of security related events.

The Australian Government National Security website provides information regarding Australian counter-terrorism activities. It includes links to other relevant material, including the following.
