Council of Australian Governments (COAG)

COAG is the peak intergovernmental forum in Australia, comprising the Prime Minister, State Premiers, Territory Chief Ministers and the President of the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA).

Regional Development Council

The Regional Development Council is a Ministerial Council announced by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) in June 2001. The RDC comprises Commonwealth, State and Territory Ministers responsible for regional development in their jurisdiction, and the President of the Australian Local Government Association.

National Office of Local Government (NOLG)

The National Awards for Local Government is a Commonwealth Government initiative established in 1986 to foster and acknowledge innovation, excellence and continuous improvement in the Local Government sector.
